Tenant Tips

1. MAINTENANCE

For maintenance issues – always contact our office first (02) 9699 9179 or complete the maintenance request form online. Be aware that if you arrange repairs to be undertaken at the premises without prior approval, the costs of such repairs and any associated costs will be borne by the tenant/s and/or the person who arranged the repairs.

2. KNOW YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WHEN RENTING

You are obliged to:

  1. Keep the property clean
  2. Not cause damage to the property
  3. Ask for the landlords permission before you install fixtures or make alterations
  4. Avoid causing a nuisance to your landlord or neighbours
  5. Not participate in anything illegal on the property

3. CONDITION REPORTS

Once you have signed a lease or tenancy agreement and paid your bond, you will be provided with a Condition Report. Check this report carefully and discuss any issues with your Landlord or Property Agent. A good tip is to photograph your property. This are a great way to record the condition of the property when you first move in.
